Our Leah girl turned four on July 11! How did she grow up so fast??
Some of the things Leah loves:
- Her dollhouse and family. She'll set it up alongside Will's Legos and Fisher Price airport.
- Her Pillow Pet, a black and white zebra named Stripey.
- Saying, "Close your eyes!" to either mom or dad and surprising us with something, most often a dandelion or picture she's drawn.
- Coloring and writing her name. Drawing "people"-- large heads, beady eyes, big ears, stick legs and arms.
- Hugging Jude, hugging Mommy's legs while I pull her across the floor, wrestling with Dad, and playing in the sandbox/riding bike with Will
- Saying, "When I'm six, can I....?", "Can I wear this for my wedding?", and "Look at me. Look at me for real!"
- Helping out around the house, especially setting the table.
Broom and dustpan from Gpa and Gma Thorson--perfect for helping Mommy :)
We stayed with some Bible school friends on the way home from our summer trip to IL and our travel day was on Leah's birthday. Sarah made everything so special for Leah by baking her a pink cake, having a lovely meal in the backyard and giving her some lovely gifts!
Kids in the backyard for supper.
Blowing out her birthday candles!
At home with her new dress from Aunt Barb!
Happy Birthday, Leah! We love you so much!
