Leah turned two on July 11th. We celebrated in Illinois with her Uncle Andy (his b-day is July 4) and then had Jenn's parents come over on her actual birthday. We had just returned from Illinois and weren't up for a big party. She loved both her cakes, first a cake baked by Grandma Ann and then an ice cream cake from Grandma & Grandpa Martz.

At the Newark, IL, parade on July 5th to celebrate the town's 175th Anniversary (more pictures coming soon).
Back at home with her ice cream cake, she reached for the candles so we couldn't hold it too close.
Leah is such a sweet blessing to us and we are so privileged to be her parents! She's talking so much more now, loves her baby dolls and is always happy to give hugs and kisses. We thank God for you, Leah!
