Kirk's sister Julie and her little boy Bryce came to visit on New Year's Day. Will had fun showing Bryce his toys, even though Bryce was pretty content to look out the window and watch the cars go by :) Julie & Bryce met Leah for the first time, and we hadn't seen Bryce since he was one month old! Time flies. It's hard not to see family as often as we'd like.

Will got some Lincoln Logs from Kirk's Aunt Barb. He and Uncle Jon (who works in construction) built several houses together, most of which were prompty demolished by Will "Wrecking Ball" Thorson.

We went out to a couples dinner at Olive Garden with some good friends from Illinois. All the guys as well as two of the wives grew up together, and Nicole and I were welcomed into the group through marriage several years ago :) We went back to Christian & Nicole's place after dinner and had a great time eating ice cream & brownies, reminiscing, and laughing at each other. Thanks to Grandpa & Grandma for keeping the kids.
