During the month of August, we attended Bible Camp at Camp FaHoCha. The kids loved playing with the youth and swimming in the lake. Kirk and I enjoyed the fellowship with other pastors and those who worked at the camp. Shortly before camp, Kirk officiated the wedding of a Bible School friend of ours.
Will started his second year of preschool in August and brought home Corduroy the bear. Leah enjoyed "giving him a bath" and wrapping him in a towel.

During the month of September, Jenn was very sick with nausea, due to our new little baby coming in April. It was a low-key month and we were glad to host our friends Brandon & Angie and their little boys who are very close to the age of Will and Leah.
In October Kirk and I took a trip down to Illinois for a friend's wedding. We enjoyed flying by ourselves and spending a long weekend with friends and family and having the kids spend some time with Jenn's parents on their farm.
A week after our trip to IL, Kirk's parents came to stay for a few days. They were there to see the kids go trick-or-treating on Halloween. Will and Leah were Clifford and a butterfly.

My grandparents celebrated their 60th anniversary in October too!
The kids with Jenn's grandpa Dale in the summer. He loves when they come to visit!
Some of Leah's favorite things to do right now are sit in her little princess chair and eat her snack and push around her baby at the "store" while talking on the phone. Hmm, I wonder who she learned that from? She also enjoys going to storyhour at a local library while Will is at school. They read stories and make crafts (this one's a sheep).
As we approach Thanksgiving in a few days, we're thankful for our family and friends and how God takes care of us and provides for our needs every day.
