Yesterday, Leah spent the morning with Kirk while I took Will to preschool. Kirk worked for quite some time while Leah kept herself busy in his office. This is what she did:
Turned the lights in his office on and off for at least 10 minutes.
Pulled a little duck toy from the nursery around the front of the sanctuary (right by Kirk's office).
Picked up Kirk's phone numerous times, saying, "hello?" and then waited until the operator's voice came on saying, "The number you have dialed is not complete, please hang up and try again." To which Leah would then say, "Hello? Will? Hello?" very loudly.
This is excitement in the life of a 21 month old little girl. Smile.
In other news, I've started a series on the Untrained Housewife about meal planning. The Basics of Menu Planning and Five Myths about Menu Planning are my first two articles. Check them out if you have the time by clicking on the links.
Here's a flashback to last year at this time with a few inches of snow on the ground. Compare that to this year, where the snow has been gone for weeks, it's been in the upper 60s and 70s and I just planted lettuce yesterday!
