Here we are already at the beginning of July. Summer is going by too fast! I always tell myself that someday I'm going to live in a place where the climate is perfect all year round: not too hot, not too cold, not too windy or too rainy or too snowy....well, I can dream, can't I?
This is what's been going on in the Thorson family the last half of June (more below from earlier in the summer...if you can call it summer here in North Dakota.)
Last Friday night, we had strong thunderstorms come through town and a tornado that touched down 2 miles north of town. Looking north, here are the very low clouds as they roll in. Hoping to soon upload a video that shows the clouds circling and swirling into position for a funnel up above us.

The house across the street, looking out from our deck to the north.
My cousin Katie got married on June 20 in Park Rapids. The reception was held at the family's ranch. It was a beautiful day!

A decent family photo--yay!

Prior to the wedding, we were at our church body's annual conference in Fergus Falls, MN. Here's Leah with her godmother, Monica. Kirk and Andy, respective fathers, were in meetings while we were hanging out taking these pictures. Apparently Leah has already mastered the art of sticking her tongue out for pictures :)

Sounds like you've had an eventful July. Hopefully the weather doesn't get any worse. I thought about you guys when that tornado watches/warnings were going out.
Nice pictures. I love seeing the kids growing up.
Will is a beast!
