This week, we had several things going on. Monday was a Memorial Day Service at the country church (which only Kirk & Will attended), Monday night Kirk and I went out for my birthday which was on Tuesday. On Wednesday I helped at a bridal shower. Tuesday-Friday we had VBS at church. My little boy went reluctantly to class on the first day, but every day after went skipping off to opening & class time without so much as a backward glance. I don't know if that makes me happy or sad.
Tonight, when I tried to sit by him and listen to him sing the songs during closing time he said to me, "Mom, can you leave now?" "You want me to leave?" I asked.
"Yeah," he replied. "Go back to the kitchen."

Also on Monday, some dear friends of ours, Kyle & Kayla stopped by on their way back from Minnesota to Montana. Will decided to jump in on the picture.

My opinion, you would rather have him miss you but go to VBS with no problems. We still struggle with Kylie going to daycare. Everytime she starts screaming because we are leaving her there it makes me feel like the worst parent, even though I know that's not true.
Leah is growing so fast. It's amazing how fast they always seem to grow.
