April & May Update

This was the scene on Sunday, April 26. Thankfully, it melted the next morning.

May is here, and it promises to be busy. We had Confirmation last Sunday and now Mother's Day is coming up as well as several graduations. I don't think it's going to slow down any for the rest of the summer.

Lately, Will has enjoyed listening to a CD called "Hide 'Em in Your Heart", with scripture put to song. The other day when I told him, "Don't worry about what Leah is doing, just worry about yourself," (a favorite phrase of my dad's), he said, "Mom, the Bible tells us not to worry about ourselves. Or tomorrow. Tomorrow will worry about itself." (From Matthew 6:34) I'm glad something sticks :)

Leah is busy getting around, and crawls a little, but still prefers the soldier crawl. She also has trouble pulling herself up to standing; she doesn't seem to like being on her knees! Although it might not seem like a big deal, her mother worries a little. :) So prayers are appreciated. :) She also loves to bang things together and put her hands up for "so big" and picks things up and pushes things around just to see if they make noise!
