OK, that's a bit of an exaggeration. But today in North Dakota, no travel is advised throughout the entire state. We are expected to get between 4-8 inches of snow, which when it is blowing 30 miles an hour is very hazardous, but the western side of the state already has a foot and it's not done yet! Both interstates (yeah, we only have 2) are closed and you'd have to be crazy to go out in weather like this anyway. The temperature is currently -12 and the wind chill is -54.
Winter is here. Hooray, hooray.
Kirk cancelled church today for several reasons, but especially to prevent our senior citizens from venturing out trying to get to church and going in the ditch (and they WOULD try)! There were 554 church and other cancellations on the news the other night for the eastern half of the state.
Last night, I was talking to Will about the importance of sharing toys with other kids, and he said, very vehemently, "But I don't WANT to SHARE!" Uh, you're not understanding what I'm trying to say, kiddo. :)
Leah and I snuggled last night before she went to bed after I fed her. She tried to eat my nose and liked to touch my face with her tiny, sweet hands. She giggled alot, and then after I sang to her, went straight to bed, happily playing with her pacifier. I love my kids!!! My husband is equally wonderful, letting me sleep in today until 8:45 when normally I should have let him sleep in, since he usually gets up at 6:30 am on Sunday.
