Here We Go Again

Lots of catching up to do with pics on the blog! We've been gone for awhile, away from fast internet connections :) The first week of July we went to our Free Lutheran Youth convention in Estes Park, CO. It was BEAUTIFUL and a great time of spiritual growth. William stayed back in IL with Grandpa & Grandma, so we had a "vacation" of sorts, even though we both did some work. We went on a couple of hikes and took some pictures. Kirk's volleyball team also won the tournament out of 70 teams, so competitive man that he is, he was pretty pumped about that. :)

By the way, I'm not sure why those last few lines are underlined, but I couldn't get them to work otherwise...

We also spent some time in North Dakota these past two weeks, and William enjoyed his time with Grandpa & Grandma Martz. He also saw his great-grandparents and went out in the boat on Devils Lake one afternoon for my grandma's birthday. He was okay for about the first 15 minutes and then decided he wanted to walk around the boat. Needless to say, I wasn't about to let him try to lean out and touch the rudder, so we ended our ride rather quickly after that. We also went to a wedding of some friends of ours at Turtle River State Park in ND, which was beautiful. An outdoor wedding and a perfect day and lots of good friends--wonderful.
