Below are many pictures taken during our week in Illinois. It was fun to spend time with Kirk's family and see some friends as well. I loved shopping at a Kohl's once again....and eating at Chipotle. They certainly don't have those establishments here in Minot :) We flew from Minneapolis to Chicago and back, making the rest of the trip by car. On Christmas Day, we spent time with my (Jenn's) grandparents in Devils Lake and Michigan, ND. Then on to my parents house, where we stayed the night and opened more gifts! William is sure spoiled!! On Dec. 26, we stayed with Sara & Eric Folsland and their little girl Lena. While in Illinois, we celebrated "Thorson Family Christmas" with Kirk's fam, slept in almost every day, and enjoyed hearing Kirk preach at his home church on Sunday. We had a birthday party for Will on the 1st of January. On the way back, we drove 8 hours the day we flew back to Mpls, arriving at home at midnight on Wednesday. It was a great trip, but like they say, "there's no place like home."

Will eating his first Christmas dinner--what a mess!

Will and cousin Mariana

Will after his haircut by his godmother Angie, who is an excellent hairstylist. Anyone who can cut the hair of a wriggling, complaining child is excellent in my book...
Uncle Jon and William (well, uncle Jon's feet anyway)

Kirk & Will, Brandon & Sawyer, Christian & Ava (Kirk's friends from back home in Illinois)
William and his birthday party "spread".

Will loved his cupcake!
