Visit from Grandpa & Grandma

For 5 days, Will's Grandpa & Grandma Thorson came and visited from Illinois. Grandma Elaine also came for an overnight stay. Will was spoiled, to say the least! We had fun hanging out with them, going shopping, playing board games, taking a short trip to Canada, and trying on oversized Halloween costumes :) (scroll down for pictures)

After they left this morning, Kirk and I made a bet to see if we would get any trick-or-treaters. He said we wouldn't because it was too cold (20 F) and there was too much snow (3 inches). I said we would, because this is North Dakota. Guess what? They came. We were visited by princesses, dinosaurs, witches, Superman, and several unidentified costumes (because they were covered with coats & hats). Ha, ha, Kirk. After all, I'm the one who's lived in North Dakota for the better part of her life :)

For those of you who choose not to observe this holiday, Happy Reformation Day from my husband :)
