From June 19 through June 27, we took a trip to the state of Washington. The main purpose of our visit was the AFLC (our church denomination's) annual conference, which was held in Warm Beach. Warm Beach is right on the coast and we had a great view of the ocean from the camp. After the conference, we stayed with some friends at a chalet by Glacier, Washington. It was close to Mount Baker, which is a very large, snowy mountain of the Cascade mountains where many people love to ski. We hiked into the mountains, spent a lot of time in the hot tub, and did some sightseeing in Bellingham (another coastal town) and Seattle.
In Seattle, we saw Pike's Place Market and the Space Needle. We tried to take a ferry to the San Juan Islands, but alas, it was too expensive :( We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and Will was quite the little trooper! He even did well on the plane. We loved seeing our friends at the conference and spending time getting to know others in our church body as well. Here are some pictures from the trip.
